Why EUCHA ?

International institutions and corporations take major decisions. It was therefore necessary to give a European representation to national ones.

Who is EUCHA ?

Both the Belgian association, OUCH-Belgium, and the French association, AFCAVF, have created EUCHA, a non-profit organisation, on June 13th, 2009. By-laws and charters have been presented to the Paris Police Prefecture and published in the French Republic Official Journal on September 12th, 2009.

EUCHA's languages

All legal documents are available in French (statuts, règlement intérieur). They will be translated in several European languages later. Each national association may use its own language to communicate with EUCHA, but, generally, dialogues between associations are carried in English.

Scientific Committee

International, it is presently being put together by two renown scientists.

General Assembly

Each national association has one vote. Individual members are represented by a college with one vote.

EUCHA's management

EUCHA's General Assembly elects, on a yearly basis, an executive committee composed of associations members. This committee, in turn, elects the presiding association.

In order to allow for a continuum in EUCHA developing relationships, the committee is represented by three persons : the president (for 3 years), the vice-president (for 4 years) and the financial controller (for 5 years).

Membership yearly fees

240 euros for associations, 40 euros for individuals.
